I searched and found nothing.

The front electric PTO on my GT1554 drags when not engaged. Should part of the PTO spin freely when the deck belt is off and the engine is not running? Mine sounds kinda grindy-like.

Does the PTO need adjusted? Got instructions?
 
Figured it out.

Yep, the clutch should drag. It makes the blades stop spinning when the clutch is disengaged.
