Has anyone attempted this. A friend of mine has all the parts from a 782 and would like to add it to his 1810.

Should be a pretty easy swap....

An 1811 is a 782 with electronic ignition, and the 1810 is basically a 682...

The difference between a 782/682...and an 1811/1810 is hydraulic lift.

As long as you have a 782 with all the parts and pieces to swap onto your 1810...you are set.

I did this to my 1810, there's a thread in here called "Converting an 1810 to an 1811" or something like that. Some of the things I did were described in there. If you have any questions or problems, feel free to ask me.

Kenneth W. Be sure that you have a ported hydro on the 1810.

If you can be sure and post pictures of your progress. Those will sure help others in the future that want to do as you are.
