We've got nothing on the ground here, Robins are finding worms, the ponds are open and I guess it's good insurance to have a loader tractor in the garage. Maybe it's cause it's 2013 here?

yes the 1512 Diesel would if chained up ! I did blade snow with my 149 with chains and well the paved drive was full of scratches for the chains slipping . So I use the atv when we get a lot of snow. It will spin some but not mark the drive. I do use my 1512 when we get a light snow 6" because it is a blast with power angle. Did you get much snow ?? I`am beat ....

Don T, No, I just got about 6" of lite fluffy snow. Between the snowblower and tractors had it cleaned up in less then 3 hours. Most of that was playing around.

The snow was much drier today and was tossin' well. I did have a hiccup tho'.. The quick attach came off one side and cost me a belt. So I got it back together with a new belt and I also installed the 2 frame bolts so I don't rely on the quick attach.

And she's been my "shovel buddy" (her words) for the past couple days!

Don-

Looks like you got a good amount for cubbing or anything for that matter. I've only been in snow that deep a couple of times in my life. If I owned a snow thrower/blower it would be for novelty here in NC. That's not to say I wouldn't enjoy it as much as anyone (for a short while anyway). It looks like you could use a blade on that Dodge.

Mike,
How do you like those tires on the front?

Wayne,
That sure looks like a blue oval to me.

Tom-

I was actually addressing ole Don and he don't drive a blue oval.

That is my 95 Dodge Ram 5.9 Diesel , I have to small a drive way to install a snow blade on that truck. With the truck 22+ ' long with a blade attached I would need 40 acres to turn it around .The weather gussers are calling for Rain here tomorrow and I bet that will be a mess with all the snow down. I bet a lot of places will have flooded basements if we get much rain. I will have to take the snow blower and make a trip around my house to give the water a place to drain. This storm had caused a lot of work. A town close to me say a storm surge that flooded part of the town with 2' of water and a lot of ice chunks. A real mess for sure.

We got the rain yesterday,(sunday) and it left big puddles of water and now its frozen and that mess of snow and ice I spoke of at the end of our drive, well its worse now. There wasn't any forecast for snow, BUT yesterday I saw the juncos at the feeders, and when there are Juncos, snow follows, and yep, it was spitting snow this morning. its amazing how nature forewarns us.

Art A., Thank You! It's been a great tractor, cheap to keep with only basic maintenance.

Tom, those tires I found on Ebay. They're from a walk behind snowblower of some sort. They add a lot of control considering all I had prior was the turf tires. They are a touch to tall and will rub the frame a bit on a hard turn.

Don/Wayne, I stnd corrected. All I saw was the Ford pickup. Maybe someone elses truck.

Hydro, how many points for wearing my dad's 1972 vintage snowmobile suit and an old buffalo plaid hat while clearing snow with a 1968 Cub Cadet?
