Got the front remotes finished today. There was just enough room to put them under the toolbox. I stole the quick connectors from my Kubota since they’re the same size as the ones on my 100. I just happened to have a couple of hoses that were the right length.

Here’s a couple pics of the piece I made to hold the quick couplers. It clamps around them and is bolted to the frame. I also made a new filler panel for the levers.

I’ve been working on a set of wheel weights that will look like the cast center of an IH 1066 38” wheel. A friend measured a set of wheels and made a scaled down drawing for me. I haven’t worked on it lately. I did take some measurements from some of my brother’s full size weights to get the scaling correct.

I decided to narrow the front wheels 1” to 4-3/8” wide to get the tire sidewalls to stick out past the wheels. The Firestones don’t have the step between the bead and sidewall like all other tires I’ve used. I also added fake lug bolts to the wheels and put in tubes.

Finished painting the satin black on my wheel weights today.

Tractor is still going strong. Sprayed 2,4-D on the lawn Sunday with it.
