So when I moved the 129 I bought last fall, I had to drag it to my backyard with my 104, and I know that you're supposed to put hydrostatic transmissions into "bypass mode" to tow them, or at least it makes it easier... So when I flipped the little lever on the side of the tunnel, I could feel it do "something" under there... whether it depressed a switch or valve or what, I'm not sure. But now that I got the engine running, it won't move forward. It will go backwards though. So I'm guessing it's stuck in bypass mode, but the shop manual I got with the machine doesn't seem to have any mention of how to get it back OUT of bypass mode. Anybody got any clues? Or do I need to just open the tunnel cover and bang on that valve?
TIA

usually when it starts up it will pop the pins up on the release valves, pull the tunnel cover and look at them if one is stuck down you'll have to remove it and free it up. they are spring loaded and I have used a small pin punch and pushed them up through the hole in the bottom, spray them with rust buster until they work up and down freely if you get lucky they'll work free and be ok !

Switch the valves and I'll betcha it will go forward only.
