I was wondering if anyone could tell of any changes or upgrades made to the 129/149's and what year the changes happened? I know there was the PTO brake added and serial number plate moved to the frame but was just curious of any other changes known?

I think the PTO clutch safety switch got added at the same time as the PTO brake.
I never thought of that one. I'll have to check on my '71 129 and see if there is no safety switch or if there is one and it's been unhooked and bypassed.

I have 2-149s. The serial number on the newer one is 504758 ( March 1974 ). The serial number on the older one is 418256 ( Feb 1972 ). Besides what was on earlier post my older 149 does not have the 3 holes in the frame on the left side where the frame spreads out. I will post some pictures later.

Does anyone know what those 3 holes on the left side of the frame would have been for? Just came in from the garage and I see my 1450 parts tractor has those same holes you're talking about on the left side of the frame.
