Aaron looks like that would be very handy for hauling logs and doing demolition work. Do you ever plan on building complete loaders for Cubs?

    Rear PTO atachments

Dennis F and Mike L thanks for the Info and Pics. I was thinking about instaling a PTO I scrounged from a farmall cub in my Orginal to power a Hyd pump on a logspliter, I've seen it done on larger tractors. Would it be strong/fast enough to do this?

    Rear PTO atachments

Does anybody have info or pics of atachments made to run off the rear PTO shaft on the early Cubs? The PTO seams to be somewhat common but I've never seen or heard of any atachments that it was used to for.

Bill C. Thanks for the info. Sounds like an M&W would be cool to have, but do to the cost of getting one I think I'll keep looking for a Danco. Ethier way it will probibly be a long hunt, parts for the older Cubs are getting hard to find up here in Michigan.

I hate to jump off topic, but I've been hunting "hi and low" for a Danco creeper gear for my Original. A buddy of mine sent me a link for a M and W gearbox that sold recently on Ebay for almost $2,000! The Danco creeper gearboxes sell for around $200 or $300 all the time. I'm just wondering...

    Tire chains

Jeff I made a set of "chains" by looping a long dog style chain through each of the four openings in the rear rims of my plowing cub, then I hooked the ends together using the hookks that came on the chain and bungie cords to keep them tight. this worked almost as good as actual tire chains...

Looks like it would be quite a workout to hang on to a log when using one of those. I'd hate to have a log get hung up on it. "Ouch! there went another finger" lol.

Paul Check your local army surplus for a brass float. I'm not sure how common teledyne parts are in Kentucky, but I find complete, new in box, teledyne motors for around $500 in alot of the surplus stores here in Michigan. So if you check there you might get lucky and find the float your...

    When is enough..enough

I guess I've been lucky, I found my "O", the only cub I can aford to own, do to money issues, at an auction about 7 years ago. It had formerly been used as a garden stock puller, I was very lucky to win it for only $65. The K161s motor sat next to it on the ground and the hood had a big chunk...
