Family got me a dual hole rear hitch, new ing switch, steering rebuild kit, and a few other small cub things for my birthday. The dual hole rear hitch from Charlie is sweet I will post some pics of it in the morning. Just read over on the green forum that stens has supposedly stopped...

Dennis, Power King used the k-361 in some of their models, they had lots of problems with overheating and pulling the valve seats out of the head. This summer I want to find a k-321 and build a "killer" Kohler for my 122, I already have the k-301 flywheel and bearing plate for the conversion.

Tim, the 12,14,16 should bolt into any kohler single cyinder powered w/f without any problems. The 14 will fit in a n/ f if you put a 12hp flywheel on it, I think Dennis f did this in his 72.

Richard, if you remove the heat shields the cooling air will not be properly directed and you will cause the very problem you are trying to prevent. Is you flywheel grass screen in place?

Don t, the one on the left is a early head. The one on the right is the newest style, and the spark plug hole is offset to prevent plug fouling in cold starting, I think the manual says something holding heat in a smaller area to produce more power. A po changed the head in my 122 to the one on...

Bill, congrats on the getting the 1650 it is on my list to eventually get. The ISO mounts will cost you in the neighborhood of $100 from cub, some places sell solid mounts for alot cheaper.

My Next Cub will be . . .

There is a place that sells both kinds of 2nd gears so you could buy one and change it out. I really like my 122. The only thing that bugs me about all of the tractors after the 12x 102 71 series is the fiberglas/plastic dash.

I removed the set screw on the locking collar and tried to tap it lose but it wont budge either way. I went to remove the set screws that hold the s/g pulley on and only one wants to come out.The bearing was cooked, it will be a while before the pto gets rebuilt as I dont have anything to put on it.

I have been working on getting the pto clutch on my 122 off. One set of set screws came right out, one set was missing and the last set stripped off. I got the the clutch off by destroying the bearing. I still have the bearing race, and this little black thing behind it on the crank. Do these...
