Anybody know of any "tricks" to mount the snowblower on my 108,I get it lined up but can't get that last inch for the side pins to catch, any ideas.......

The QA latch needs to be in the down position.
Sounds like the locking tabs may be rusted shut?
You may have to take the assembly apart and make sure everything is moving freely.
It should latch when you push the unit onto the shoulder bolts with an audible "click"
 
The QA42 in not adjustable and is for the narrow frame cubs only
The QA42A is the adjustable model.

Compare the two and you will see the difference
