Kraig:
I'm no traitor, just....uh.....bi-tractorial - yeah! that's the ticket!

All kidding aside, the 'ol 318 did a pretty good job once I got the cobbs blown out of it. I don't think its ever seen a drawbar load until this event. All it needs is a big V-twin engine, some ATV tires, an internal brake Cub rear end so I can mount some more wheel weights - you get the picture.

Keith, like your profile used to say, "If it ain't broke, improve it.")

Watch for a few more photos later today.

Is this Jim B.?

Denny, yes. AC owned Simplicity at the time. Stan has replaced the 19.9hp Onan with a 24hp Honda.

That Simplicty is basically exact as a AC 620/630, except for color & the hood scoop.

I will let Kraig post some of the pics I sent him today...he will have them in hand tomorrow.

Here's one of that tractor I posted over on the WFM site.

I'd say he looks like a happy-camper!

Ryan, I think you mean 620/720. The fenders are slightly different too.

Kraig, Art - I drove one of those MANY years ago, 1968 maybe? pulling a float for the Geneseo, IL. Music Festival for the Drum & Bugle corps. Float had My Sister & St. Bernard dog on it, Pulling that rack/float 3 mph down the street was no problem...

Denny more like 1972 or 1973 when they were introduced.

Kraig: Yes, that is Jim B. with the 2182 gasser. It is not a diesel. Thanks to everybody involved from Linda and I. We had a great time.

Kraig - Yes that is my daughter Martina or as we call her Marti with me on my "new" 582. Think she had a blast both Friday night and Saturday. That is all that she has talked about.

You are right Kraig...got my numbers confused.

He was telling me that he has a 3 range tranny behind a hydro , and that he has no problem plowing in 3rd gear, wide open hydro and can plow 10mph.

Ryan, yep, the AC620/720 and the Simplicity 4040, 4041 and 9020 Powermax have a 3 speed tranny behind a hydro. I rarely use 3rd gear, it's way too fast for doing loader work.
