I have a weight box that I put on in the winter for some added offset to the snow thrower. Easily 300 pounds. I dont use chains, some slip on ice ,never got it stuck.

Yes, so far. The original motor for the lift burnt up. I found another on Ebay and swapped it out. It will lift a tiller also.

Some one correct me if I'm wrong, weren't these rear ends used on farm all cubs

Here's the frame I use to hold the weight. I'm not concerned anymore about the weight anymore but am wondering about how I bolt it up, The center bolt goes through the hitch and the 2 bolts on each side of the frame. I just have it sitting there for a pic but you can see the 2 longer bolts I use.

Yes, the rear end was originally used in the Farmall Cub.

I think that should be fine bolted up like that. For the rear weight on mine it was originally being suspended from the fenders, not the frame.

I have a 104. Can anyone tell me if the front weights for a Farmall Cub are the same part number as the rear weights for the narrow frame Cadets?

Thanks

I would say yes, since they are the same weight except for the color.:errrr:
IH preferred to make parts that would fit on as many different tractors as possible. That way, you wouldn't have to build a bunch of warehouses to keep all the different parts in.

Even though they are the same, I doubt anyone could order any! :cubwinker:
Hard enough to find any decent priced used ones.

Kraig,
Got any ads/info on the front weights for a cub? Would be cool to see.

Unfortunately I do not have any Farmall Cub front weight adds or info on them.

In the transmission picture above, there are three transmissions in the middle that have a long input shaft and a shorter bent shifter. These are for a Cub Loboy or a Cub with a deluxe seat. Also someone was making aftermarket front weights at one time. I think Steiner was selling them. They won’t have the IH markings, but will function the same as original and are the same shape.
