Les is building a welding table for his shop.
Looks to be an awesome start.
The top alone is 3/4" plate and weighs over 400#s.

Will have room under it for two file cabinet style drawers and be on wheels.

That looks to be very handy when finished. Nice and sturdy also.
 
Just about done. Gonna add some drawers on each side underneath later and leave room for a chair in the center. I think the small tube braces were just temporary and will be removed.

Raises and lowers w/a hand crank. Weighs in at around 600#

I think my son should have gone into engineering.
