I would like to tighten up the steering in my 125.I plan on removing the complete steering assembly, cleaning out the old grease, inspecting races and bearings. The stud probably needs replacing. If I don't get the lever and bolt assembly back in exactly in relation to center on cam,how will that effect the turn angles? Will it turn sharper one way?Can I adjust that out,or should I just mark it with a punch or file? Thanks guys.

I'm pretty sure that it will self center. The steering wheel spokes might be in a different clock position however. Here's a link to the service manual. The steering info starts on page 51 of the file:

Do you plan to install the super steer kit? Here's a link to Kirk Engines, Inc. Kirk sells a kit and has information about it. It's a low cost upgrade that's well worth doing.
