There are a couple "versions" of the breed, but by and large like many breeds there was a lot of "intermingling".. If you are interested - I know where there is a pup?!?!? LOL

me too! I don't know how I am resisting in bringing another pup home!
My problem is my 2 oldest moved out,got married and both left their dogs...5 yrs ago LOL.how does that work out?!?! Now they have families,a house...and both have new dogs,geeeesh!

I had some friends near us growing up that had a pet racoon. He was very sweet and cautious.. he chewed off every picket on their fence tho'. LOL
I love these puppies photos. They are getting big since this thread started. Here is another of ruger at 5 months now. And 1 of colt and ruger out fishing with me.
I said before...LOVE that pic of them at the front of the boat!
