Even the 5&6 ft tall piles I pushed up in front of our house the last snow we had are completely gone. Last time I saw snow disappear this fact we got rain, lots of rain and everything, snow melt and rain ran down to the Rock River and flooded the QUAD-CITIES something terrible. But no floods this year!
Farmers have to be getting itchy to get in the fields.
SON has spent the last two weeks flying/driving all over the eastern half of the USA doing minor rebuild on a combination sprayer/spreader for commercial lawn services. I'm going to pick up 10 bags of Weed & Feed for him to spread with their Engineering Test mule in a couple weeks. I only fertilize every 8-10 years. Should only take him 20 minutes to do my 2-3/10ths acres. It carrys a 60 gallon spray tank AND at the same time a 220# dry hopper. I normally rent an AGRIFAB broadcast spreader, but this will be much quicker!
