My electric cub cadet xt1 is fully charged. When I turn it on, press the throttle, it hesitate and then turns off. The cub cadet customer service rep told me to make sure the brake is off and check the seat switch. I did, as well as recalibrated. But now I think it's something with the brake because the mower won't roll at all. Someone please help. I can't find anything on this. Thanks!

are you still within your warranty period(?), and did you save your receipts/purchase paperwork?
if at all possible, strike (a warranty claim) while the warranty is hot!

Yes, I can do that. But do you know what is wrong? Is it the transmission or the brakes, or what? I like to have a lil bit of an idea if I can fix it myself before I have to take it into a repair shop.

If it is still under warranty, I would not touch it for fear of voiding what may be left, if any.
Hopefully you bought this unit from a from a dealer and not a big box store.

Turns out that this time it was the brake lever between the spring and the brake disc was stuck. When I applied the brake, the spring moved but nothing else did. I sprayed lubricant on it and now it's good to go again. Warranty runs out in 3 days. Gotta love it! So next time, I'm sure it'll be the transmission or something more costly. At which time, it may become a yard ornament.
