My 104 steering was loosey-goosey. Bought knuckle assemble lh and steering arm assembly from Parts Tree. Installed them using a 3/8" x 2" x 24 hex bolt (tried a coarser thread but didn't fit through the holes), installed a Ross Steering upgrade kit from Corbeau-Customs on Ebay (you don't need to remove the steering box for this, just fit a wrench on the exiting nut on the side of the steering box from the right side of the tractor and then install the new parts. The steering is absolutely fine - as good as any new tractor I have. Funny thing - when I went to replace the wheel, the rim kept scraping the housing - tried over and over no good, finally I turned the wheel around so the valve stem was facing inside - wheel worked just fine. I looked on Youtube and saw that a number of the 100 series had the front left wheel installed that way - weird. Hope this will be of some help to anyone with steering issues.
