So I noticed these wires weren't connected the last time I was poking around under my girl's dress. They're a kind of pink-ish/purple 10ga with a fork terminal and a yellow w/ blue stripe 12ga, and obviously end up right next to the voltage regulator. The regulator seems to have all of it's relevant wires already, and the machine charges when she's running. I haven't stuck a test light on them yet to see if one or both are energized when the machine is off/on/running.
I'm hoping they're supposed to be headlight wires... I doubt I'm that lucky.

Well right after I posted this, I found Roland's post on colored schematics. Looks like the purple one just might be for lights, although I don't have a switch. The Yellow w/ blue stripe is still a mystery.
