Several years ago there was a posting on a product that would help prevent snow from sticking.on snow thrower shout and auger.I am trying to remember what it was. All help is apreciaded. Thanks

The brand name is "Slip Plate", there are several other similar products they are basically graphite paint. Another similar brand is "EZ Slide"

Here's a link to some info on it in the CubFAQ:

Slip Plate 2

It should be available in both brush on and rattle can versions. I like to do the inside of the auger housing and discharge chute with the brush on version then do touch ups with the spray version. I have heard that the brush on version has a higher content of graphite. The spray version works great to spray on Brinly turning plows to keep the share rust free and ready to go the next time it's time to plow. No more having to polish up the share.
