This guy has a knack for the mickey mouse contraptions. At first I thought the screw drive was a odd but then watched him drag it out of the mud with the oddest back hoe maneuvering.

A wise man would have buried that contraption in the water hole and deleted the video.
 
But if you noticed off to the side of the video was a sub-link showing a Russian version of it that I suspect worked a whole lot better!
 
I think Henry Ford was working on one of those with a tractor or something to hold together.

I like how you could hear it popping as it was trying to climb that small hill. That must have been the chain slipping on the cogs after the main shafts bent and the transmission case broke. LOL

That backhoe was laughable, but the more I watched him work with it, the more handy it looked. I could use one of those...
