I took his question as to be if the lines were the same dimension (OD) rather than the length and number of bends. I am quite sure that both single and dual spool valves used 3/8" OD tubing.
 
Larry,
Hard lines should not be in a sprung position.
That can lead to fatigue and cracking. You should try to re-bend them slightly so that they are relaxed when they are in their final position.
 
Hi Steven, welcome to the forum!!
A couple of tips:
1: Notice the dates in a thread, sometimes they're quite old..
2: If you click on the name of a person posting, you'll see their profile and other info. In this case, if you were addressing the question back to Matt Hunt, he hasn't logged on since 12/17/06.
