Recognize this pump???

I bought this pump a couple of years ago and was told he thought it came from a Wheel Horse. It has a different control handle than that of a IH pump and the plumbing looks to be makeshift.

It isn't the best pic but it has the same body/reservoir and valve body as the IH pump. The pulley is slightly smaller and cast.

It's not WH, they use/used the same pump as our Cubs, just configured different to run clockwise.

Hein Werner PU100 pumps or possibly a Century Fox

FWIW - later model WH's used the Eaton 1100 hydro pump. But they look nothing like what's in the pic.

The Eaton 1100 was/is a very good hydro unit.

BILL J. - I think this is an on-board aux. hyd. lift pump for attachments, not the hydrostic transmission.

Wayne, it sure looks like just another variation of the Hein Werner to me. But looks like it might have the wrong direction of rotation to be used on a Cub Cadet. Look here for some of the other variations.

I remember that wonderful write up very well and have used it as reference more than once. I first started this thread back in March of this year and all of the sudden it comes back to life. I haven't yet rebuilt that particular pump but it's in house now and on the list. I was told it might have come from a WH tractor. I have no idea what it will be used for and might just go up for sale but I'll go through it first. It can't be used traditionally on a cub as it turns the opposite direction. I just bought it because I happen to have the money at the time and it was about 3 hours away here in NC. I went there to get something else and saw it and the guy was willing to sell it at a good price.

I have since gone through two IH pump systems and have one more to do.

Dennis F. I agree with it being an auxilliary pump.
