Hi all. I'll post pics. But I have an older cub cadet. I'm thinking a model 73? I inherited it from my dad as it was one of his last projects. It seems to be all here all marts need to move freely. I need help hooking it back up and getting it running as I have little knowledge about this stuff 😅 I can do basic car repairs and am handy w tools and can learn fast. Videos would be awesome. But any info on how to do anything with it would be greatly appreciated!

Ryan, good looking project.I've noticed many wires unhooked, that's probably where I would start.Follow digger's message and you will find a lot of answers, including wiring diagrams...good luck!!Looks just like my 70 that I just started a refurb on..

I was trying to get basic info on it 1st. year make etc. Only number I can find is the engine number and a 6 digit number. Wiring diagrams didn't look to bad to read. And I'm taking a lot of parts are the same or interchangeable?

Looks to have a K241AS (10HP) engine.
Serial number plate is located here in this photo. Report back with numbers and we can tell you what it is or was.

If 298763 is the serial number than it was built April 1969.
I'm guessing it's a model 72 but has had a 10hp transplanted.
