I bought a set of ramps to load my Nomad in my cargo trailer; they were rate at 1400 lbs in US measure . I had to take my nomad in for a bad hyd lifter replacement and then got the ramps. I was not impressed for what these three ramps cost.

I think they should have worked out for more than one trip .I do have a replacement cener ramp made that will last. But for the $$ that $397 was wasted.

now an old man like me, might have added some threaded rod cross braces and flat bar ,Had I though an 800 b Mc might cause a 1400 lb ramp to bend. Now I sit back and I know I should never have thaught these ramps would be something I should have to work a PO thing on, lol. We have seen WAY to much Po, I would love to have the $ to spend on MY IH Obsion. I`am not born and bread US , But I do standunder

Don: Was that a set of 2 ramps that the 1400# was meant to be spread out, as in loading an ATV or tractor? Looks like that one "form fitted" to the Nomad's tires! Don't be shy about telling us where you got them.

Frank, Don mentioned "three ramps" so i;m dividing that 1400 pounds. by 3. then I'm spreading that 466.67 pounds across the whole width of each ramp, not just in the center - then they may hold up for than 1 road trip...

Sorry to hear of this Don!

Don-

Get that receipt and at least try taking them back. That's ridiculous! It looks like they (it) should have held. I'd be pi$$ed!

Don - that ramp is a shame. I'd definitely be going back to where ever you got them. I suppose they will say it "didn't break" (split in half along the long bars), so it technically held the weight - and then I'd be mad as H- - -, they should be rating each and every part. It's no different than a house ladder when all your weight goes on one rung.

Guys , yep I might have known that these ramps ( 3 pieces that lock together)would not stand the Nomad and me riding the bike up the ramp. I thought I should have a ramp big enuf to put either foot down if needed. I found out the weight they say it`s for is combined weight. (bummer) Now I will have to PO it lol.

guess ill stick with my 1 1/4 x 10 oak planks......that bites don. but at least ya didnt dump the bike in the process

A few years ago I had a set of steel ramps that I got at Sears collapse while loading my tractor into the back of my pickup. Just managed to get the tractor in, but had to improvise to get it back out. I took the POS ramps back for a refund.
