I couldn't stand the idea of this old lathe going for scrap, didn't figure it would get any bids, as it was a farm equipment auction and wasn't even listed.
I was hoping somebody had a purpose for it, so I didn't bid it up much, just trying to keep the scrappers off of it, I was unsuccessful (as I later found out) Clown that bought it had no clue how to move it, just looking for a quick buck.................and will likely be trying to turn it without moving it I sure didn't need it and wasn't looking forward to the move, but didn't want it to go to a dismal end.
BTW: the "footprint" measured just shy of 25 feet.
