Hi all,
Just acquired a Cub Cadet HDS 3186 with a 54" deck from a buddy of mine. Had been sitting in his field for the past year and a half and didn't need it anymore, so it was passes along to me. Engine fired right up after a jump and some clean gas put in. Smoked a little but everything seems to work fine. Took a bit of cleaning to break the mower deck blades free of the muck but got those spinning as well. I would like to give the machine a thorough tune up to the engine and replace the worn out parts on the mower deck (290 series I believe). I am having a heck of a time finding the correct part numbers for everything and would like to see if there are any spindle, belt, blade kits for the deck. Any advice would be helpful.
