Hello all. New here with a 1450. Just pulled the motor and am trying to straighten a bent frame on one side. I've come across some of y'all's posts already and have gained some great incite on how to get this far. I'm the process of building my parts list for reassembly.

Welcome Bobby! Wow, a bent frame! That is quite a project.

While you are in there check for cracks in the frame around the steering "C" channel where it meets the frame.
A lot of them crack in that area when the lower motor mounts go to crap and the cradle drops, rides and wears on the "C" channel.

Well. I finally got some time to work on this frame. The pipe clamp was just not enough to get the movement it required. After some searching for a robust C-clamp, I realized a ball joint separator would do the trick. I borrowed one from the local parts store and after a few cranks I was able to massage the bowed side in almost perfect. It is still a little off, but a lot better than what it was.

Completed cradle cross member modification, new mounts, coil, driveshaft fan, couplers and bushings. Carb needed some TLC and finally got the ole' girl up and running again. I still need to investigate possible PTO issue but almost back to working condition.
