I am restoring a 127. It runs but smoke a lot. It is in really good shape. I am going to start with a rebuild kit. Any tips on what to look for about the smoking would be great. The kit i am looking at has valves, piston, connecting rod, and all gaskets. I also need a points cover if anyone knows where to get one. My grandpa had one when I was little. He passed away a few years ago and I am restoring this in his honor. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum, Jesse. It's cool you're doing it in your grandpa's honor. Yes, can you share some pics?

The 127 looks really good

The diamond plate in the front is super cool looking, how does it effect engine cooling?
