Old coil is out of tractor now.An easy test is to disconnect the point wire from the negative side of the coil. turn on the key. use a jumper wire or screwdriver to intermittently ground the negative coil terminal -you should get spark out of the coil (you are just acting like the points -if you get spark the coil is OK.
Old coil is out of tractor now.
New coil installed with new condenser and plug.
Yes, it running once again.And does it run now??? Some of us are on the edge of our seats.
