Upgrade NowThe plastic gets beat up very easily. Just putting on a snow blower last week on my 2182 I managed to knock out 2 cooling slots — I was p-ssed. The front cowl doesn’t have a chance either, can get smacked quickly, I guess Cub Cadet thought it was no big deal when they could just sell replacement parts — which probably weren’t very expensive back then. With the one I got last week I now have a total of 4 Cyclops. I retire just after the new year and plan to do some work on these and get at least 2 of them operational.
Glad to hear how many of you like this style! The plastic front on these was a really bad idea though.
