The mower came with my 1650 (not installed) has the ID #441 U-1111. Is that the same as 44A?

Skip - Your post should really be in the "IH Cub Cadet Tractor Forum" area, a couple lines down on the main page. You'll have a lot more folks seeing it there, as some may not read this Technical questions area (it's intended for questions about the forum software, etc).
My understanding, from reading previous questions about deck models, is that both the 44 and 44A used the same ID#. The difference is apparently the center pulley and/or bearings. Here's a post from 2012 that might help.
