Jp told you I would some day.. I've been collecting quite a while .Just couldn't get them all for pics .3 briggs kickstarts,3 maytag kickstarts,2 briggs hand lever start, most of the blue are old kohlers, there is a couple of lawsons,at least 2 clintons,2 #5 briggs, 3 slant engines, continental, iron horse and reo....a hand crank briggs (not shown a huge zz)..tecumsehs. and 2 neptune boat motors (1930s) ...34 total, all run except 2 2 cycles...this hobby been going on for some time..once upon a time I had a 37 nuckle head harley (damn fool that I am it got sold during tough times....) The biggest challenge is coils, most are hard to come by but some extra wire and an outside coil can be hooked up to make one of these "old timers" run....

My current collection isn't nearly that large, and not all of them run yet. But I'll be there someday... my greatest power is buying too many projects and not having enough time to finish them all!

Jp, that's just normal isn't it.Who dares run out of projects ? Of course my kids think I'm nuts .My intent is to mount them all on a large wagon and take them to a local fair for others to ponder..next year....If you look there are at least 100 models I don't have and probably never will..They are getting harder to find in good shape...

yeah, you're right about that. I'm trying to scoop up any I can find these days, just to try and save them. Lately I've been working on my crank start Briggs model A, since I finally found a gas tank for it. Then the Farmall H got in the way, as well as a Wisconsin V4 that I need to rescue from the weeds down the street, and the list goes on...

I've really been looking for Clintons lately, as they are beginning to get really rare around here. Only have 2 right now, a 350 and a 774AT (sub-model of the 700a). I also have a parts 700a that donated stuff to the 774AT. Unfortunately as winter approaches people stop selling stuff and shows don't happen, so I won't be picking up very much til next year.

I do have a lead on another Maytag as well as a couple other engines if I ever manage to get back over to the guy who has them. He hasn't listed them for sale anywhere so hopefully I'll be safe. I've never seen the Maytag so I wonder if its a single or twin. Side note, he's the same guy I bought my Hand crank model A from, as well as my Clinton 774AT. He runs a small automotive repair shop and just loves to buy old stuff like we do. And then he sells them to people like me who want to make them run again!

I promised Jay someday it would run again and I'D post some pics...77 harley "low rider" first yr mfg..99% stock ,pipes, coil, elec ign, extra lift cam. approx 50,000 mi. speedo was broke for 20 yrs..I live on gravel, got very tired of dusting so painted it flat black a long time ago...had some physical issues so no rides for 2 yrs.Owned it 44 yrs ,will be very hard to part with..
