I need to replace my original long looped suction tube with the later style right angle tube so that I can use the ports on the ported pump that I swapped in. There are a couple of places online that list the part but I have not found it in stock anywhere yet, and would prefer to find a more affordable/used part if at all possible.

Looking at these components, there appears to be no components that can't be found at a good hydraulic shop. Those tubes can easily be fabricated out of 304 SS tubing after installing the ferrules and "B" nuts, and flaring the one end of the tubes. All you need are the materials, a tubing bender, and a 45 degree flare tool. Not rocket science at all!

I stopped by a local hydraulics shop (Pirtek), they said they don't work with rigid tubing and the threads had them stumped. I did find a used one on eBay for $20, which I figured was worth a try. If it doesn't work out, I'll track down a different hydraulic shop, or try to make something up myself.

The multi-piece suction line posted above will likely not work with a later ported hydro pump as the threads are different (coarser) at the inlet port. Hopefully your ported pump has the 727-3009
union fitting for the flared end of one-piece suction tube.

Check with the sponsors above for a good used short suction tube assembly. You can buy new tube assembly from CC, as they are still available, but a bit pricey.

My ported pump came with a short one-piece suction tube with the coarser threaded fitting. My pump is the finer thread.

I found a multi-piece suction tube with the correct fine threads on both sides for $20 on eBay. Fits great, will find out if it works in a day or two here when I get some other parts and the put the tractor back together.
