Looking for Cub Cadet carrying attachment

Some years ago an individual was selling an attachment that mounted on front of garden tractors to carry items. When not in use, the bottom would fold up against the grill. I think it was called something like "jimmy jon"???? Because of back problems, I need something to move things like bag of seed, small stone, etc., not very difficult to remove, and not cost a lot of cash. If not being made any more, maybe somebody has other ideas. Thanks

I know the John deere 110 manual showed a grille gaurd that would fold flat to carry small items like your talking. I assume cub would have had something similar at some point.

i’ve seen some shop-built carry-all platforms mounted on the 3-pt and/or sleeve hitch. plywood deck, a few bolts.

Made this a couple years ago. It folds up for storage and takes just a few seconds to install on the cat-0 hitch A-frame.

I think Xtreme, a page sponsor, sells one they call the "gard-n- cart" If I remember correctly, it was for the original, but I can't imagine fabricating bracketry to fit other models would be that extensive of a project. You could probly even sacrifice an old mule drive to make it work.

Xtreme also sells a 2" inch receiver hitch ($65) where you can use a 2-1/2'x5' carryall. Those are going for like $50 on FB or craigslist.

THANKS for every body’s input on my inquiry for a Cub attachment to haul small items. Xtreme has the item that I was remembering. I’ll order the disassembled parts and find front hanger assembly for my CC149. If anybody in Wisconsin knows of one, please let me know.

Yes, I still have my Super Cub 2072 w/Kwik Way loader. When I first got it, my son-in-law and I fixed, painted, and added everything that Cub had as optional that it did not have. First few years it was mostly a show tractor. Drove it parades, pull a 2-wheel trailer (painted CC yellow & black w/ Cub Cadet insignias on the sides) w/my granddaughters ridding & tossing candy.

Had a 169 that I sold (one of my mistakes), it was written up in Cadet Connection magazine. Still have my 149 that I want to put the “gard-n-cart” attachment on. My wife can drive it and easier to maneuver. Because of my age (86) and back surgeries, sold deck, snowblower, roto tiller and front mounted generator. It was getting too hard to mount & remove them. So, I do not need the front mule drive. Thanks again for the help.
