Well the article starts with a moving tribute to those “American melting pot”heros who gave their lives on D-Day. But it ends saying we are going to hell on account of liberal elitists. So I spose that means the republican candidate is your guy. He thinks the guy invading Ukraine is a great guy, and fellas marching chanting “Jews will not replace us” us are good people. Hitler rose to power by claiming liberal elites were destroying Germany. America does have lots of problems, and I’m not saying the liberals are doing a perfect job at all, but seriously?

This is by far, one of the best books I have ever read, and I have read a lot of them over the years, most of which I have bought new, hard cover, and have given to the local library.
I am about 1/2 way through it's 300+ pages and it just keeps getting better by the chapter.
Perhaps your local library can get you a copy through their inter-library loan program.

Another great read is Tom Brokaws The Greatest Generation. Sadly, those guys can never be replaced. When at a function where veterans are asked to stand, I get up and feel proud that I stand in good company even though no one ever sent a bullet my way. Jack 21988256
