I sure am getting antsy waiting for the clock to tick down. But with over 80 tractors already registered and still a couple weeks until the big day, it sounds like this is going to be another great event. I can't wait.

Travis, I plan on attending the Friday night festivities. What time should we arrive?

Bill

Kevin, you want pictures?

I'll be there Friday and Saturday with this plow and a tractor to pull it.

Rick,
Even though it's a Greenie still pretty cool.

J.D., what are you going to pull it with?

Jim,
That is a pretty cool setup you got there. I can't wait to see it in action

Thanks guys, for the good words. I just thought maybe some of you with cubs and 3-point hitches might want to give it a try at plow day. Doing the same with the wfm guys. All are welcome. This Plow Day is all about a good time playing in the dirt, so this is my way of making it even more fun.

I pull it just fine with my JD 430, and it does a real nice job.

That's my son Alex, and you may have to pry it away from him to get a hook!

No doubt Tom

I keep eyeballing the 400 and 430 myself. I saw one for sale just down the road from my brothers place... it was tempting for sure.

Rumor has it that there's going to be SUPER COOL items for door prizes and the raffle for PD. So make sure to make plans to attend.

After watching tonight weather forcast I am thinking we might need to bring along our snowblades to clear the fields so we can get our moldbord plows in the ground.

The ground is still frozen here. I am 1.5 hrs due north of Rockford. What's the ground temperature in Rockford, IA? Is there a chance that the ground might not be ready? Does the frost need to be completely broken to before the soil can dry out enough to plow? On the other hand the weather can turn on a dime. Might be in the 70's in two weeks!

We were 6ft deep last week with zero frost in the ground. We also missed the snow last week. At this point there is nothing to worry about. Hopefully the next 2 weeks are nice!!!

BTW, everyone is welcome Fri night for the night plowing like we did last year. That proved to be a good time!!

Curious question for those "in the know"....Will Midwest Super Cub be attending??
