Charlie and all, we had a real nice lineup today. A good smattering of green stuff as well. I am always so impressed by how well everyone helps each other at these things. There were lots of young ones there today also. This is great to see. We had like 89 names on the register. That is cool. I need to say thanks to all that donated door prizes and assistance in any way. Steve B. I ended up plowing for awhile with the 782D. Thanks. And I want to thank you Charlie for handling the sign up page. I'm very tired and I think I will finally sleep tonite. Hope everyone gets home safe. Thank you all. Gus

Glen,

Glad your 782D got to plowing better!!!!!

Great job and many thanks for a very well run and enjoyable day. The weather worked in your favor and the turn out was very good. My family and I had a great time.

As others have said, it was hard, black, tight IL dirt, but with just enough moisture to make the hard soil scour nice.....it sure did bring out a nice land polish on the plow boards!!!!! Fresh and green bean stubble gave everyone fits...even managed to get the best of my super colter several times.

Again Glen...thanks for a job well done!!!!

Great job Glen, we had a good time, met some good people, and got some great tip's! It is so impressive by how well everyone help's each other at these event's, thank's to all.

Charlie, as you requested.

It was a good day with only a few breakdowns, one being a broken tie rod end and the other a sheared drive shaft pin. I believe both were fixed and back out plowing after a short time. It is nice to see people helping others at these events to make sure everyone had fun.

Well, had a great time at plowday, gave the old Original a real good workout. That black IL dirt with the plow set about 4 inches was a real good time. Right before we were loading Friday morning the 73 that I just got done restoring the night before sheared a drive pin as I was driving it over to the trailer. Oh well, not much you can do about that. I would like to thank Glen and everyone for an awesome time. As always, can't wait for the next one.

Glen:
Thanks for a organizing a great plow day. I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to visit with a BUNCH of great people across the course of the day.

You did a great job and it's appreciated!
Keith

For those who did not know, Keith Ehrecke was involved in the sale of my ultra rare, super strong, brush gaurd, grill protector, bumper and tow hitch. We managed to get $1000 dollars for this unique item by offering a $980 dollar rebate. I even had to throw in a 782 frame to complete the deal. Shrewd salesmen are we!!

...and what a deal it was!!!!!!! I just can't believe that there wasn't a rush for that super fancy front end fixer-upper....I only wish dad hadn't beaten me to it.........
