I inherited an old 72 from my father. The PTO needs to be rebuilt. I am wondering if there is a kit somewhere online to purchase this?

Any help would be appreciated

Aaron

Aaron, Allen, I'll be the bad cop, today. The 72 is a garden TRACTOR and belongs in the IH Cub Cadet Forum.
That said, the site Allen suggested is just a little over 100 miles from Aaron. He could go visit.

Thanks for the link. Its been a battle getting this old girl restored. I have gone through the engine. Gonna drain old oil, replace with new and a little MMO to help free a sticky intake valve.

Should be running tonight.

Then on to the PTO.

P.S. Moderator, I am new.. Thanks for not flaming.

could anyone point me in the direction of a replacement ignition switch for my old 72?

It has the three wire harness. I am sure I could cut the wires and rewire in something to make it work. However, I would like to keep it original.

I have searched some of the parts companies listed in the links and am unable to locate one.

thanks

Aaron N.

You thank us for not flaming for posting in the wrong spot.
THEN, you come back and post in the wrong and do a want ad all in one post!

You obviously didn't search to well as no less than 5 of the sponsors carry what your looking for!
