Is anyone working on their 2284 right now? If so, a favor? Could you post a pic of the carb linkage? This is what it looks like on the unit I picked up, but I think a bunch of stuff is missing. Springs, links, etc. if you could post a pic of a "good, working" one, it would be appreciated. Thank you and Merry Christmas

I see a small governor linkage spring that is disconnected. I believe it goes in the hole under where the rod is connected on the governor arm.
 
I do miss my 2284.

I see a small governor linkage spring that is disconnected. I believe it goes in the hole under where the rod is connected on the governor arm.
The spring that's unhooked is for keeping the two lever and rod tight.
