well then, you bought a PC with a mower blade attached- have you taken it back to a cub dealer for an estimate? it wont likely be free but at least they will tell you what they think is wrong- if it is like the jd products it may need proprietary equipment and software to trouble shoot. you can try to source parts they recommend on the internet to make the repairs at home

OK but its over three years old, so I now have a brand new CC30e battery. I don't know how to remove the old one!
