My Cub Cadet story is a long one. My dad purchased an original model in Dec 1962, complete with fenders, headlights, underdrive, wheel weights, 38” mower deck and snow blower. The blower is gone but I have all the manuals, paperwork and some sales brochures, as well as a box of parts. Dad used it for many years and then passed it on to me and it has been working continuously up until a three weeks ago. One of the blade bearing nuts flew off and the shaft / bearings were damaged. Long story short, I now cut grass with a new electric XL1 Cub Cadet. I probably found you guys too late but look forward to enjoying the discussions.
