Was the “O” model a counter clockwise generator? Did the “O” use the same generator as the 70?

I notice in the service manual for the model 70 & 100 that the generators have different Delco numbers. 1951 & 1967 respectively. Aside from that difference, everything spec listed is identical. Does anyone know what the difference was?

Yes. Same generator. Some of the early O had different end cap and oil caps.
I don’t know what the difference was with the numbers.

As has been said, differences are the oil caps and pulley size.

ALL Cub Cadet starter/generators are CCW rotation.
