Hey guys,

I'd like to keep my eyes open for a front plow for my 1250. Can someone tell me what years or models of cub I could look to? For example, does a plow from a different model fit the 1250? Thanks.

Dustin - some people consider "wide frames" to be just the tractors from the 1x8/9 series (86, 108, 109, 128, 129, 149 and 169), but many of us consider the wide frames to include all the Quiet Line tractors as well (800, 1000, 1200, 1250, 1450 and 1650) since it basically shares the same frame (just a few minor hardly noticeable differences). So a blade used on any of these tractors will work on your 1250.

So, I suppose your next question is - what's the difference between the blade I need and those used on the older tractors or the later 82 series tractors?

Well, the sub-frame, the lift bracket mounted on the blade A-frame, and the lift rod. Otherwise, the rest of the blade is all the same as long as it's a trip spring version blade.
