Recently a very very nice 1872 was for sale near me. It was one of the nicest I ever saw. It sold in less than 24hrs for full price $2000. No 3pnt, rear pto or deck just tractor. This got me thinking what would an equally equipped and conditioned 1572 or 1772 be worth. I have been told a diesel is worth$1000 more than a gas version. Now add a 3pnt and /or a rear pto and deck which all together should be worth at least another $1000 and your up to $4000. What's your oppinion?

I'm going to treat this as an opinion post and not an appraisal post (since appraisal posts are against the rules.) Things are only worth what your willing to pay for them. I wouldn't pay $4000 for a cub period. There is a 1572 with all if that right now for sale on C/L here for less and no one will touch it.

So it just depends how bad you want/need it.
