Are you referring to the No. 40 box blade or the blade rake combo? The blade/rake combo was available in 1963, or at least it's listed in a 1964 Price List dated 1963. And it's pictured in a model 100 datasheet.

The No. 40 box blade shows up during the 71, 102, 122, 123 series.
