i went to go get my cub Cadet 125 to start but the engine wouldn't start and the starter stoped working. so i put a different starter on it an the starter runs backward and i crossed the wires and it still runs bacwards. does anyone have any ideas

You have to have a CCW starter. They are all usually marked.
