I bought a kit to rebuild the pto and when installing the wave style washer and snap ring the wave washer flattened on one side and snap ring is very loose kind of lost it's spring. Did I get inferior parts. What does everyone do for parts?

I bought from a Cub Cadet only dealer just was hoping someone had an idea for an improvement for I don't think this will last long. Maybe back to button style. Will try to get pictures today.

Did you follow the instruction page exactly? I have no experience with the brake style, but I do know the details matter.

Got time to get back on the clutch. Ordered parts as suggested and got same identical parts. Snap ring groove depth and snap ring not holding. Used my dremel and cut groove deeper like original and used snap ring from HF assortment now all is good.
