I have a 1961 Original and need some help with any documentation on how to fix the clutch! I was pulling the neigbourhoods kids, 7 in all around in the snow when the clutch kicked out. I don't have any manuals so I don't even know if it has a clutch. pinting to any info would help me out! Thanks!

I'll bet the linkage fell off. They usually don't just "give out" real fast. Just take a look under the tractor and is pretty much speaks for itself.

Brad-
Check the locking collar on the front (forward most end) of the driveshaft. If that locking collar has slipped loose, it will not allow the spring tension to maintain tight contact with the clutch-plates.

I did a more in depth post on this awhile back with pics and everything, but I don't have time to search it out.

Best of luck, and let us know what was the issue.
