I am doing a complete tear down on my kh301, and including soda blasting. Is it ok to soda blast the pto while apart before rebuild instead of resurfacing ? Don’t have a lathe for that, thanks guys…

No need for a lathe, Get some 80 grit sandpaper and a good flat surface and go to town on both pieces and you'll be good.
