Wayne S. Tell him congratulations!! And he used a good set of hauling equipment to bring it home.

Charlie P. I've a lot going on here as of late. With all happening... at this point.. I'm actually praying to be able to afford to go to Travis' Plow Day and get the 104 from Shultzie. 104 has priority though and major reorganizing is taking place right now. Hoping to not have to part with any of the Cubs though.

----------------------------------

Well I finally tracked down the horrid awful grinding vibration noise to my s/g, only when belt was slightly taught though!

149 has always had charging issues and the occasional slow turn over and occasional click when trying to start,,,

Soooooooo,,,, I figured "maybe" New bearing & brushes,,,

Once I got s/g open, what was left of one brush was down inside the coils, the other was slap wore out and barley hanging on,,,

317227.jpg

Now with "NEW" bearing & brushes,,,

I'm very "Hopeful" at this point,

All back together, hop on lil Cubby and "click"

Sooooooooo,,, Now!!!

Before any wise cracks I "know" this is a LONG way from anything Fluke, but I figure better verify,,

317231.jpg

12v to solenoid, check
12v to s/g, check
continuity, check

So final conclusion is to drop a bill for new s/g,,,

No More Delco-Remy tag, but Starts Rite up and no more charging or starting issues,,,

Wayne, CUBgratulations to Nolan!

Jason, bummer the new brushes and bearing didn't fix that. At least you got it going again.

So...
I take it that NOBODY has that grill decal available???
Sure need to fill that black hole in that grill on the 108.
And now, that I have a 149, I'm sure it will need one also.

BTW, thank you Charlie/Kraig for increasing the size limit on pics.

It's nice to take a pic and just post it.

.

In case anyone is wondering, the image upload size limits are: 800 x 600 pixels and 250KB file size.

This change was actually made quite some time ago but Gerry recently asked about it HERE and Jason did a bit of research and posted his results.

Kraig,
That's good news! Thanks!! You know we all like pics and big ones are even better!

Recently bought a 364 cub blower and mounting on a 782 but missing rear brackets for square tubing that mount to back end, has anyone made there own brackets and how do they mount to frame may be fabrication time.
